1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Soap making tutorial! on: July 29, 2011 12:17:33 PM
When making your own recipe, how much water do I need to use for how ever much lye I'm using for a water discount like this?

If I make soap with the recommended (from a lye calc. site) amount of water to lye and put it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees, then turn it off and let it hang out in there with the door closed for 12 hours, how long will it take before I can cut it and how long before I can use it?

I love this theme idea!  Saturn is my favorite.

I haven't yet made my first batch of CP soap, but I'm planning to in the next week.  I love this scent combination!  I bet this smells amazing.
4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Don't normally work in polymer clay, what do you think? on: September 21, 2009 05:18:51 PM
My brutally honest opinion.  I really like the pendant, and would definitely wear it, but I think it would look a lot better with a little texture in the black areas or some 3D pieces to give it a bit more depth.

That is a really nice corset!  I wish mine turned out that nice.  What kind of boning did you use?

The shirt you're wearing I'm super curious about though.  I need one just like that for a LARP costume.  Did you make it?  Is there a pattern online somewhere for it?  a tutorial?

Sorry for asking so many questions!
