1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Denim Fancy Dress on: March 29, 2012 11:41:29 AM
I created this piece for a friend of mine. The top was built on a denim shirt, and then multiple pairs of jeans were sewn together to create the fun skirt. It has a slight hi-lo hem and raw edges.

You can read more about it on my blog.

I made this for a friend.

3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Free People Knock-Off Cowboy Booties on: October 11, 2011 12:29:41 PM
I made these:

These were the inspiration:

I simply took an old pair of cowboy boots, chopped them up and accessorized them. It was quite simple.

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Fashion Show....mega pic obese!!! on: June 23, 2010 08:35:35 AM
I did a fashion show back in April and I was the finale. I had over 20 outfits and 2 wedding dresses. Everything was handmade by me. Some outfits are recons and some are totally from scratch. Most were made using my patterns that I drafted in my fashion classes and made adjustments to to make them more "in style". I had so much fun and I hope you enjoy the pics!

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Floral Bib Necklace on: January 29, 2010 08:40:51 AM
I was a bit hesitant to start this project because I was afraid of going overboard or it just not looking right, but I absolutely adore the final product! I put it under reconstructed because I used mostly scraps, the lining from the sleeves of a jacket that I removed and a satin shirt. Each flower is hand sewn and then affixed to felt.

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Beaded/Charm Bracelets on: January 29, 2010 08:36:41 AM
I decided to try my hand at making beaded/charm bracelets. I used to wear them all the time. I don't know why I stopped.

This first one was created out of chalk turquoise and faux coral. It is my fave!

This one was created mostly from glass beads. There are some acrylic ovals and some random charms from a necklace. I love multicolored stuff because it can go with anything.

The last one I have is mostly gold and silver tone. I love mixing the two together because then you can do the same with the rest of your jewelry. These are just a bunch of random charms and things that I had.

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Ribbon and Pearl Beaded Necklaces on: January 29, 2010 08:31:24 AM
I have so much fun making these necklaces. They are created with ribbon and faux pearls. I even put fabric flowers on some of them too. The awesome turquoise fabric fabric actually came from a shower curtain...Can you believe that was a shower curtain. I used it as regular curtains in a ginormous window and then some of it got turned into pillow, and now I just have scraps to play with.

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Feather and Flower Headbands on: January 29, 2010 08:22:09 AM
I have been a headband making fiend lately. Some are made from feathers, some from flowers and some from both. A lot of the fabric flowers are made with recycled stuff and scraps...so they are eco friendly.

What do you think?

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Recycled Denim Cuffs on: November 12, 2009 07:14:59 AM
I suppose these would go here since they are accessories..not exactly jewelry.

I made all of these out of recycled jeans. I painted, frayed and embellished them.

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Tank to Dress and tee to Dress on: October 08, 2009 07:14:15 AM
Here are 2 of my latest creations. Thie first was created from a Linkin Park tee, and for the second one I started with the red and purple tank top. I didn't use a pattern for either I just winged it and they both turned out great...well at least I think so.
