1  Make trendy pants out of an old ones. (Capri style) in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by jordyca on: May 31, 2011 10:57:09 PM
Its been a while since I posted something here, but I had this pants that I made and wanted to share with you. I had this pair of pants that I never wear but keep them on my closet just in case one day I feel like wearing them... time passed by, and they were still in my closet, so I thought it was time to do something with them or give it to someone that would wear them..

I just took the top and legs off and added some stretchy fabric.

What do you think?

2  Green, gold and amber chandelier earrings for a wedding in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by jordyca on: June 18, 2010 11:08:11 AM
I was a bridesmaid, for my cousins wedding, after choosing the dress, and have it made for me (the color made it really hard to buy one already made) I had to decide what accessories to wear, Im not very comfortable with necklaces, I dont know why, I love them but never wear them. But I love chandelier earrings, I love how they look, they make me feel sexier, of course in a obvious and subtle way, plus I have a round face, so they help my face look slimmer.

So I made my own for the wedding. At the end I didnt used them, they were a bit too long for my dress. But still I love it.

Ready to fight for the bouquet .. Mad that somebody else got it!  Cheesy

4  My halloween's Mad Hatter version in Halloween Costumes by jordyca on: June 16, 2010 04:07:49 PM
I know Halloween is nowhere near, but I wanted to share with you last years costumes I made for me and my friends. As must of us, I love Alice in wonderland, and I was so excited about the movie coming out. So me and my friends decided to go a party as Alice in wonderlands characters. I made and designed all of the costumes. we had a blast!

I wish I had a closer picture of the hat, it was just like the one Johny Deep was wearing in the movie. I used Threadbangers tutorial. youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKcbk6xnSz4

And for the makeup I used this tutorial youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXXyAScd7eU ... I can't never get the white color smooth like she does.

I have to say, we had the best costumes at the party, everybody was taking pictures of us, it was like we were celebrities arriving at the red carpet. Nice!!! what was not very nice, was doing my hear like that... next morning was a nightmare trying to get it nice and flat again, I had to use an entire bottle of conditioner. Ill think about this twice before I decide to do it again.

6  Re: Compai's Chaos Reconstruction T-shirt and bags. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by jordyca on: July 29, 2009 09:53:19 AM
I really like that first one.  It's a little hard to see the detail, is it pintucks on the front, or ruffles?

Here is another pic to see the front detail.

7  more beach cover-up dresses. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by jordyca on: July 28, 2009 09:47:14 AM

this is very simple, but light and fress and you can also wear it as a skirt.

I loved this one, very light fabric, and it looks so sexy, I live in the coast so this, you could wear even at night.  like if I was skinny like the model and didn't have big bobs, I would totally wear it with nice jeans and sexy shoes.  this one has coconut buckles at the top so you can adjust it.

I hope you like them!!

10  Chiffon caftan beach cover-up in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by jordyca on: July 28, 2009 09:37:18 AM
I love this dress, but man it was difficult to make... First, the fabric is so light that its hard to align the sides to mark the pattern, to cut even is hard to.. I had to pin it to the bed so it wont move and i could mark the cutting lines. and second, wow, I have no idea how to sew bias, like what to do in the corners or in this case in a V neck. Please if somebody can help me I will really appreciate it.

I really liked the shape, and the detail of the orange bias.
