691  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Sublime Stitching book issue/question on: July 18, 2007 03:11:49 PM
It helps if you pre-heat the fabric you are going to put the transfer on and then lay it out and heat the transfer. This makes darker lines and also gets the job done faster. Hope it works out for you.

My sister would love this. She is a bartender and her favorite drink is Margaritas. Great color combo.

695  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / I am losing my Craftster Innocence - First Pics of my work on: July 18, 2007 09:58:09 AM
I haven't been embroidering long only about three weeks of and on. This is my second onesie I did. The first one was using the atomique pattern and I am mad I didn't take any photos.

Here is my second attempt at embroidery. I made this for my friends they just had their first child, Owen. Sorry if the picture quality is bad.

Please let me know if you have any tips or comments. I really love this site and how much I am learning just by looking at all the wonderful things you guys do. Thanks.

You could even say something like "you stole my heart" and have the cuff around your heart ~~I know kind of cheesy~~

I am absolutely in love with all your work. I am a high school biology teacher and can't wait to try and (badly) recreate your designs. How long have you been embroidering? I am just starting and right now you are my "inspiration" Roll Eyes. No pressure . . . keep up the amazing work.
