A few more gifts I've completed for Christmas.

This is my second completed amigurumi project. Im pretty happy with it. Ill be giving it to my aunt for Christmas.

This is a Harry Potter Snitch. It's going to be a gift for my best friend.

This is my second scarf. I made the first for my sister in yellow, this one is for my youngest sister.

Those are amazing. I have to say that I find the Santa really impressive, which is saying something since I grew up not believing in Santa and tend not to like Santa stuff.

They're all great though, I really like the Christmas tree and wreath.
23  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / iPod touch Cozy/Case with pocket on: December 21, 2009 02:12:40 AM
Cozy/case for almost-13 year old cousin Sidney. She is getting an iPod touch for Christmas.

I looked at alot of different patterns for iPod cases, but there was nothing that was what I wanted, so this is an original pattern. I sized it with an iPod touch. My iPhone fits as well.

It has a flap to hold it secure with a hole for the earbuds to plug in as well as a pocket for storing the earbuds. I was considering making a strap also, but once the pocket was on I thought a strap would be too much.

I used Lily Sugar'n Cream yarn and a G hook.
24  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: "5 Mintue Artisan Bread"- the best thing since sliced bread on: December 20, 2009 02:01:42 PM
I've never heard of a fabric bread bag, sounds cool! I put mine in a clear plastic bread box.
25  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Re: Amigurumi Faces on: December 20, 2009 12:00:59 PM
Thanks guys, I decided to go with embroidery floss and embroidery needle. I looked up a few stitch definitions and when I tried it it felt familiar.

Here's my kitty face.
26  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: What do you say when people ask, did you knit that yourself? on: December 20, 2009 11:44:36 AM
I'll usually just say that I did make it and leave it at that, unless I know the person and I'll mention it's crocheted.

My boyfriend is constantly referring to my "knitting" ARRRGH  Tongue

Kitty has decided my yarn box makes an excellent bed and every time my mom visits she says "awww, you're so cute in the knitting box!" but I don't let it bother me.

I try to remember how irritated I get when guys try to correct me on some stupid sports thing I don't care about.  (I don't care if it's quarters in basketball and halfs in football!  What I want to know is whether the game is almost over!!)

I'm with you, I'm always calling it intermission, and for some reason people look at me funny.

Looks great, especially for one of your first projects! I'm also a new crocheter and trying to crochet a bunch of gifts this year. Keep it up, your stuff looks really cute.
