I know this isn't exactly clothing..but it is sewing by a kid..lol. I'm such a proud mommy! Of course he had help from me but I"m starting him young! He will be 3 in a couple of months! I just had to share!

4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / My First Mei Tai on: March 03, 2008 11:16:14 AM
This is my first Mei Tai and I"m super happy with how it turned out. I had some help but did most of it myself. I'm definately a beginner! I got the tute off Craftster but can't remember where!! I appologize, but if anyone is interested I"m sure I can dig it up somewhere! It worked perfectly for our recent Florida vacation! It was sturdy enough to carry my 34lb toddler!!

Action Shot!

Thanks for looking!!

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Finally posting Christmas presents!! on: January 19, 2008 05:48:06 PM
I altered the pattern only by needle size and yarn type. I found size 7 and worsted weight worked good up to about 6 months. Size 8 and worsted fits up to 1 - 1 1/2 (depending on your childs head size..my son's head is ENORMOUS so I upped his by using size 9 needles) I just experimented mainly and tried different colors, and textures..it was kinda fun actually. I must confess though..I am in no hurry to make anymore any time soon!!

Happy Knitting!!
