21  New York / New York: Central / Binghamton anyone...anyone...anyone???? on: July 17, 2007 07:44:29 PM
Is there anyone in or around the Binghamton area that crochets and/or knits? I joined a local S&B we met once and no one has any time. Theres a knitters guild but they meet at like 11am, not conducive for those of us in school and that work. So anyone else around wonder why it seems no one else here knits or crochets or desperate to find some sort of group?

23  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hi from NY on: July 06, 2007 11:58:08 PM
Hi everyone
I have been lurking around the site for awhile and it seems great. I am mainly a crocheter, I can and do sew(tailoring mainly not quilting)and knit and I know how to but really don't do anymore shuttle and bobbin tatting, embroidery and crewel work and I can hot glue with the best of them. I can't spell so we'll call them all typos but I can count in binary, oct and hex up to 65535 on my fingers so who needs proper spelling?
I live in upstate NY with my new husband (1 yr in Sept) and my 3 children. I work 2 jobs out of need and desire as well I am a grad student .
So thats the basics of me in a nut shell.
