I've been lurking this thread ever since it began, getting lots of inspiration from looking at everyone else's beautiful weddings, so it's only fair that I share mine now! I originally posted about my 1920's/ Great Gatsby idea for our wedding when we were first engaged. Things snowballed into more of a late 20's/early 30's hybrid. I don't have many picks of the limited craftiness I pulled together, but all of the bouquets shown were DIY. We bought the calla lillies from Costco and then my bridesbabes tied them all together while I barked out directions from the make-up chair. The car is a 1935 Mercedes Benz, that magically appeared the day of the wedding, my dad and I drove up in it to the outdoor ceremony. I had no idea that my parents called in some favors and arranged for the car until it was time to leave for the ceremony!

I have no recollection of what we were doing here, but it does allow for a closer-up of my hair-do!
