1  easy/basic/funky twisted seed bead necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by keribetsyoneill on: February 05, 2008 07:32:28 PM
so this is my first post ever.
i love craftster but i've never gotten around to posting anything i make.
but tonight i have no homework.  and i crafted.  and i like my crafting.
so i've decided to make my first official post. Cheesy

so basically i took both soft flex and thick wire and 6/0 and 8/0 seed beads, did some twisting around a skewer. and got this necklace!  i just got a job as a jewelry designer/maker at our bead store downtown.  is it cute and fun or cheesy?

the necklace!

close up of the twistage action!

close up of how i ended the "nonflexible wire" (can't think of what to properly name it) and then finished with a toggle

on me!

i really like this necklace.  it's my style.  fun and carefree and all over the place!

ok that is all!  happy crafting!

p.s. my shirt doesn't say cuba.  it says scuba Cheesy

sooooooooo this is the first thing i have ever crocheted.  i saw it and fell in love with its craftiness and funkiness.  very very fun.  in my haste to make one of these, i grabbed the closest ball of yarn and i didn't exactly plan out any cool character.  he could easily be transformed into bert and i could create the matching ernie.  anyways, i love it.  thanks for the pattern!
