That little bag is so cute! Definitely might have to make one.

I received from mangospanker! (HA, best name ever!)

The full load:

And my favorite, the little green and blue ones. Unfortunately the green didn't come out, but they're fab.

Thanks to both mangospanker and craftADDchick for organizing.

5  Doilies shouldn't curl...right? in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by OnePinkHippo on: February 11, 2011 03:52:44 PM
Hello all, I really hope you can help me! I've been wanting to make a doily for a while, but have been more interested in reverse engineering one. I found one and started crocheting it, and everything was going fine until:

it curled. Somehow I don't think in progress doilies are supposed to do that. So I came up with a few possibilities of why, but am not sure which one works. I don't really want to frog it, but I know I have a tight tension, I might not have put enough chain stitches in between or I need to go up a hook size. I also thought about finishing and when I block and starch it it'll flatten out, but I don't have experience with doilies to know.

Can you guys help me? Huh (Oh there's another option: I'm going to test the pattern and was going to do so with a larger size hook and some DK cotton. Maybe if I do it that way I can find the problem?) Sorry if this is a lot of information; my crochet mojo hasn't been the best lately.  Undecided (And thanks in advance.)

6  Re: ACTIVE: Granny-A-Day Crochet-Along MAY! in Crochetalongs by OnePinkHippo on: May 02, 2010 06:42:58 PM
msface: Your first granny looks so much better than mine! I couldn't figure out the instructions at all.

craftADDchick: Nice to see you've joined the Inga's bag bandwagon.  Wink I can't wait to see the final bag! I'd be using mine but it needs lining and I don't know how to go about that. Any ideas fellow Craftsters?

I started this last month, but it's probably what I'll be doing for the majority of this month's CAL. Busting the acrylic stash hexagon style:

And this one is what I've done so far, but it's not the best quality:

And yes, that is Craftster on the screen, specifically fluffysam's cactus. Cheesy

I figured out Daisy Chain! ...well, kinda. I just improvised so it's a little wonky.

And Briar Rose, which I'm quite pleased with.

zombiecazz: Haha, kitteh model!

9  Re: 2010 12" Squares CAL- April in Crochetalongs by OnePinkHippo on: April 20, 2010 03:52:56 PM
Did I post this yet? My Easter Day square, which took almost a month. Roll Eyes Stupid 12 inch blocks take so long, especially when you have to add extra rounds.

Excuse the unwoven ends.  Embarrassed Embarrassed

Oooo, lovely craftADDchick! Are you going to redo them in black, it looked really nice!

This week's squares:

I finished Inga's bag which took up the majority of the week. Excuse the crappy shot, once I "block" it and sew the straps on I'll have better pictures.

I also finished squares for the 2010 Block-a-month CAL, the Easter square on the top right, and the other two on the bottom from the 2010 200 Blocks CAL from Jan Eaton's 200 Crochet Blocks, Daisy Chain and Briar Rose.
