1  knitting bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by aureliec on: December 13, 2007 11:57:56 AM

i made 2 knitting bags since my knitting is always all over the place and i thought it would be nice to have a propper bag for it (need more bags for other projects now, wish i could pull myself together and do only ONE THING at a time, i am hopeless) and wanted to show you since i always enjoy looking at all the tutorials and pictures on craftster but am too lazy most of the time to upload my pics Embarrassed so i thought i try to get better.

the first one is for myself:

and the second one for my aunt, she loves pink and cats so i thought good idea to use the hello kitty fabric

i made a tiny little pouch/ purse to go with it for the needle and stitch markers

it is really tiny

i kind of used this great tutorial here

but changed the handle and the size in general, mine are far bigger (well, a few inches) so obviously i used longer zippers. the measurements given worked out great for a make up gab when i tried it the first time!

thanks for looking, mara

hi ladies!!!

mojens wonderful parcel arrived this morning! i am thrilled with everything- jen did a great job but see yourself what we got Smiley

jen knitted a great hat for my daughter, it fits perfect and eva liked it so much that she didnt even mind actually having it on her hat(which she usually does- she takes of every hat i put on her, immediately Roll Eyes)

the hat was in this beautiful box- it has felt paisley all over ( i love paisley Grin)

eva took a good look at the next present

it is a sun in a jar Grin jen knitted a sun since we never get any in this silly country- isnt that so sweet? Kiss it will get a special place jen!

i love the bag! i took it to the shop today and it is great, my new favourite bag now :)the picture does no justice to the button, its all shiny sparkly pretty. the bag is felted!

and all this cards with little notes to the presents

thank you very much jen Kiss Kiss Kiss

5  Re: Top Down Raglan...along... in Knitalongs by aureliec on: August 25, 2007 08:46:07 AM
hi guys,

i started one of these as well a few weeks ago! it is for my little daughter (11 months)

the nice yarn at the top is from artyarns ...unfortunately i did not have enough of it so i had to use some debbie bliss (i think rialto?) as well and i am not to keen on the combintion which is why it takes me ages to finish it...........the other thing is that i would prefer it as a cardian so i think when i am finished i just cut it in the middle and figure something out with my sewing machine........

thank u all for posting pictures of your knitting, you encouraged me to try knitting top down Smiley it is actually fun (if you have enough wool in one colour aaahhh Roll Eyes) mara
