I'm so excited!! I discovered craftster while looking for patterns to make these, so it only seems appropriate that I enter this challenge!!  Once we get home from vacation I am going to dive right in!

I wash diapers about every other day, but what is one more load of laundry!  To convince your hubby, just show him how much money you will be saving, not to mention how much less garbage to take out.

Thanks for the encouragement.. our toddler is about to potty train, so he will be forced to deal with cloth of some sort regardless, so I'm thinking about working in cloth for little one as I have time to sew them.  Since I do most of the laundry and he does most of the garbage, he'll probably come around!
185  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Miniature Flower Bouquets on: June 28, 2007 11:37:55 AM
OK-- Read too fast.. thought you were making them for favors for all of the wedding guests!! LOL!! Was relieved to see that wasnt the case. That would be a lot of little flowers!
It is beautiful.. and I agree I think the magnet is the better choice.
186  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Bride-to-be's most important item on: June 28, 2007 11:09:28 AM
How lovely!  I did some work on my own wedding dress and veil, and had lots of nightmares about it until it was done!  I would wake up in the middle of the night and go frantically sew on my dress.  So glad your experience was so much shorter and not as scary..
The green is beautiful.. I'm sure everything else for your big day will be beautiful as well!

Online I saw someone suggest using microfiber in the center for more absorption.  (can buy inexpensive cleaning cloths at big box stores.. walmart, etc.) Seems like a good idea, even if it isn't all recycled.  They said not to put it as the inner liner next to the skin because it could dry out baby's skin!! Now that's some serious absorption!

I love the different colors.. I am trying to get myself motivated enough to go to cloth.. Not sure I can convince my hubby   Grin

Skelectica.. thanks for the info on making a dress form.. I've been working on a shirt that would really benefit from one, and have been envious of the pics I've seen of them.  Thats a great cheap idea.. thanks for sharing !

How exciting!! I just found craftster this week, and am completely hooked.  I stayed up way past my bedtime in hopes of being 100,000, but I was too slow on the draw, and I think I was 100,001.  I am looking forward to exploring all the wonderful ideas and pics, and have already been very inspired by the clothing recon posts.
