1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Boho Yarn Wall Hanging on: January 30, 2017 05:51:34 PM
Thanks! I don't have process pics, but I plan to take some better ones when I get it hung in its permanent home.
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Boho Yarn Wall Hanging on: January 30, 2017 03:32:45 PM
As it says in the title, I made a Boho style yarn wall hanging for my bedroom. I know the picture isn't great, but the colors in it are a peachy coral, cream, taupe, and charcoal gray. It's a quick, easy  and inexpensive craft, especially when you're using stash and leftover yarn.
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Checkerboard rug on: November 02, 2016 07:36:29 PM
I knitted my first rug! I didn't use a pattern, but here's how I did it. I used size US 9 needles with 2 strands of worsted and 1 strand of something finer to knit the squares in garter stitch. Each one is 20 stitches by 19 rows. I sewed them together, then I knitted the border onto the edge by casting on 7 and then picking up stitches at the end of every other row.
4  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Knitted Knockers Knitalong for Breast Cancer survivors! on: October 28, 2016 01:25:57 PM
I am drawn to this project but I'm also strapped for cash. I have some brown Lily Sugar & Cream cotton yarn. Would that be too rough for this project? Thanks.
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Damask Wars Barrel Purse - Swoon Blanche on: October 28, 2016 11:10:02 AM
Just commented on your other bag, but this one is really cute, too!

I love the double meaning of "it's bigger on the inside" because the bag doesn't just hold an object, it holds music!

Well done centering your fabric to get the best pattern placement. Looks professional.

They're all beautiful, but my favorite is the black and white ombre.
