It's an amazing depiction and from your story it sounds like you're an amazing woman.

I love the creative approach that you took with your entries. I also like the way you titled your piece on the side.  Nice job.

Wow, thanks!  I wanted to title it, but the front seemed finished without it.
3733  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Take a page from my book...gown! (img heavy) on: October 16, 2009 11:02:38 AM
Wow!  I love how custom and perfectly appropriate for the situation this is!  And it looked great, too!  It KILLS me that we live in the same city, but I didn't get to see it live.  Arg!

If one can get herpes of the hair, I want to stitch it!
3735  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: sweater for a toasty cat on: October 16, 2009 09:22:21 AM
Awwwwww! Dat photo of the wittle kitty sweepin in da sweater is so sweet my teeth hurt!  I've a cat who'd probably not mind wearing a sweater and a ratty old cardigan with holes in the elbows would suit his aging personality.  My only worry is the litter box... Anyone with cats in clothes have advice or information about that issue?

This is beautiful, amazing stitching! I don't even know what they're called, but I love the detail on his shoulder-thingie.

Thank you! The epaulet (shoulder thingy) almost crushed my spirit due to the metallic floss, but it was an important part of the Admiral's uniform.

As someone who is a survivor and also working in the anti-violence field, these pieces for the challenge are blowing me away! So, so beautiful. I would love for there to be a showing of pieces like this all over. Thank you so much for sharing.

I'm honored to be included in your praise.  Thanks!

Eeeee squirrels! This is wonderful.

Thank you!

Wowzers! What a great take on NSFW, too!  I can't wait to see more and more of the pieces for that swap... it's so great to see so many interpretations of a theme.
