61  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Hot off the presser foot! Clothes Pin Caddy on: June 03, 2007 09:46:59 AM
I decided we needed one of these. My mom had made one back in the day. I took some extra fabric and came up with a pattern this morning. This was my first positive experience with grommets too! Comments- good or bad are appreciated.

62  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / How much to charge a jerk? on: May 26, 2007 03:54:05 PM
I serged some fabric for a woman I work with that she uses to decorate her church- free of charge for her. Now she wants me to serge some fabric she uses for displays at work, just basic rectangles- for a fee. She told me to charge whatever I want. It's about 60 yds of fabric. I definately want to be reimbursed, but have no idea how much to charge our jerk bossman. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
63  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Wedding centerpiece on: May 25, 2007 11:17:19 AM
I decided to make dolls of my (now) DH and myself- they turned out too big for the cake so I used them in the centerpiece for the head table. I added flowers to the dolls to hide the wire I secured to the arrangement with (I was also the florist for my wedding). Dave's pants came out looking kinda diaper-y so they also were hidden with more flowers.
