1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / need help turning stitches on: July 31, 2004 12:59:43 AM
I have just begun crocheting and I am having trouble turning stitches, my first attempt ( I did just rows of single stitches) came out pretty well but rather warped. I have read various instructions and now I am just plain ol' frusterated!

All you gals are very talented so I am sure you could help me!!!

Any good books or websites to suggest?
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Does anyone know this stitch??? on: July 26, 2004 12:57:03 AM
It is a shawl that Jessica Simpson wears, but it's not the flower pattern it's more of a triangle pattern.

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Super easy ponchos! on: July 24, 2004 01:00:19 PM
I love your ponchos so much. I really need to learn how to crochet! Did you teach yourself?

I also wanted to show you a pic of Jessica Simpson wearing something kinda similar to your blue-ish one, now I know that I can make something similar since you made such a beautiful one!!!

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / macrame 70s purses I want to make on: July 21, 2004 05:02:35 PM

5  COOKING / Dessert / really yummy diet popsicles on: July 17, 2004 06:11:23 PM
It's boiling hot here  and I'm trying to loose 10 pounds so I'm trying to find good but yummy things to eat.

I had a brainwave that I could make almost calorie-less popsicles by using light jello and crystal light. So you use a pkg of each and add 2 cups boiling water then stir and then add 2 cups cold water and then pour into jello molds. These take a while to freeze and if they are not frozen enough the popsicle stick will come out. The popsicles taste store-bought-ish and yummy!

Are you willing to make a tutorial for the hello kitty cuffy bracelet?
