Wow that's cool. At first glance the small pic looked like a crazily decorated cake, great project!

Those are very nice. The second one looks like she is floating in the womb still.

Ok it is McCalls 2213, 9 looks in one pattern. I altered the bloomer part though, I have a serger so there was no need to make the seam allowances so large. The pattern makes you leave a large chunk in order to fold it and sew it down, so it doesn't fray. The pocket I made wider aswell, it normally calls for 2 smaller pockets placed at the hip, but I changed it up a bit.

So its already been said, but way cute! Love the pocket and lot the polka dots!
Did you use a pattern for the bloomers? I am bloomer challenged!
Great job!!

Yes the whole thing came from one pattern. I can look up the number when I am up in my studio tomorrow.

I made this reversible dress and bloomers for an upcoming craft show. I like the fact it's 2 outfits in one, or if it gets dirty while your out you can turn it around...lol. I used a decorative stitch all the way around to give it some appeal. Let me know what you think!

Omg that's too funny. I have a pair sitting here that my friend asked me to make. They have toronto maple leafs on them, her baby is growing out of them and wanted a bigger pair. I see what you mean about the bib part. Yours are super adorable!!!

gorgeous! I would love to know how you made them Smiley

Trial an error.....lol, and a bit of cursing. I basically measured my friends baby foot. He wasn't all that willing considering it was for girls shoes...lol. I drew a foot shape, kinda like a jelly bean, with an indent for the instep. Then I took a piece of string and followed the shape all the way around then measured it on a ruler. It's hard to measure a round shape with a ruler alone, so the string works best for me. This measurement gives you the distance for the top of the foot. Then I just played with the shape on paper. I would say this size is a 6-9 months. I am sure you could google baby booties and find some free patterns too. I just like to create from scratch. I am working on a boot style too, so we shall see how that goes.

Thanks for the nice comments!

I made a pattern for some baby shoes, all my friends are having babies so I thought what the hey. These are the first 2 pairs I made. I want the red pair for myself, I think I have to make a pair in my size.
