1  Re: Amigurumi Ferrets! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by thisisheartcore on: May 17, 2007 07:48:48 AM
Thanx so much for the pattern, June! It worked out pretty well, and the new ferret has not peed on anything yet  Wink
I did not have much time for going shopping, so I used plain worsted weight yarn which I had left over. I'll get some heavier yarn next weekend and try another one. Here's the result, I tried to make the amigurumi ferret resemble my boy Vicky:

Since I'm not too great at crocheting, I just followed the pattern 95% of the time. I miscounted the stitches once, so the body turned out to be a bit slimmer. But I absolutely love it!

2  apple-shaped sleeping bag for ferrets in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by thisisheartcore on: May 07, 2007 12:51:26 PM
My ferrets like to curl up in their sleeping bags and I thought it would be cute to sew them some special sleeping bags. I drew an apple (approx. 30x35 cm.), used the drawing as a pattern and sewed this sleeping bag out of red, orange and green fleece fabric.

I'm not allowed to post pictures yet, so I have to link my flickr:

3  crocheted ferret in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by thisisheartcore on: May 07, 2007 12:32:59 PM
Hi there,

since I discovered craftster a couple of weeks ago, I've become completely addicted... I started out with stenciling and now turned to crocheting. My grandma taught me how to crochet when I was a little girl and luckily I can still remeber the basics. Last week I crocheted one of my ferrets. I did not have a pattern, so I made it from scratch. Since I'm not allowed to post pictures, I'll just post the URL of my Flickr:

My next project's going to be my weasel boy Vicky... I already bought yarn, yahooo Smiley
