551  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Gossamer...you know the huge red LOoney Toon... on: February 07, 2009 06:00:00 AM
I have a bunch of red fur laying around and it reminded me of Gossamer....so I brought him to life...

The picture isn't the greatest but you get the point  Tongue
He is roughly 10 inches and he is my first plush aside from the Poppet I made...but this is kind of a big difference.  Cheesy
I should have weighed his feet so he could stand...but I am a dope and forgot.
reference in case you forgot him:

I am a big fan of commenting!.!
552  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Re: Skull shirt on: February 04, 2009 06:13:36 PM
thank you!.! and you're welcome!.! I have a plain Hoody for myself and I don't know what to put on it...I give away all the good stuff  Cheesy

I will not duplicate or do anything similar to something I have already done....even if it's for me to keep...although in this case I have been tempted  Tongue I refuse...

554  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Skull shirt on: February 04, 2009 05:39:17 PM

I made this shirt for a swap so I have no action shots sorry!.!
I also scanned the shirt to really capture the colors..quarter for size reference...
bottom right hand (while wearing) side of a 3/4 sleeve shirt...

I never know where to post my shirts...they are hand painted mostly, but I make a rough outline first with a transfer pen on plain paper and iron that onto the shirt first....so it technically is an image reproduction....

the skull outline was what I started with and free handed the flowers and vines...all just regular ol fabric paints...

my photos are a mix of cell phone and scanned photos....my digicam never wants to cooperate when I need it to.

I picked up my package from crafty gurlllll on the way to Atlantic city!.!

everything came in neatly tied purple skelli print bags  Cheesy

inside I found awesome note cards and envelopes  made with all kinds of pretty papers...I wish I could have gotten a better shot of the teeny skulls in the paisley!.!
there were matching gift tags as well <3

sugar skull shrinky pin!.!

knit skelli washcloth...which I'm probably going to turn pink with my red hair  Tongue

awesome Alexander Henry print tote with hand sewn applique (when I saw this I almost shouted obscenities into the Dunkin Donuts drive through)

keychain which is now holding my keys to the bag

I had to scan the wallet that was in the bag because I am so in love with the red snap that is so awesome!.!

I took out my pigtails and immediately put on the matching headband...

we then went to Trump Plaza casino

and looky there my Trump card already moved in!.!

I had to mess with the contrast on only half the picture so you could see the bag and not completely wash out the giant slot machine  Grin

there was also a set of really awesome clay coasters that I can't photograph very well....I tried to scan them but it didn't work....humbug.
the bf and I are starting to make our house a home. We finally got a couch and a TV for the living room.....and now COASTERS...how awesome is that?.!
thank you again crafty gurlllll.....I had so much fun crafting for you and absolutely love everything that was crafted for me thank you thank you!.!

oh, and the skull on the candle holder is exactly  the one on the shirt I scanned my drawing and shrunk it and traced it onto the glass...

oh man thanks, about the shadowbox it was my first...the skeleton inside toilet paper paper mache and q tips so it would be lightweight....

the skull on the green box is glow sculpey. I had a huge problem with that box, I originally had black feathers like wings but remembered you have a cat so I had to pull it apart.....and you wouldn't believe how hard it was finding marigolds, I had to use daisies....so just pretend =0p

I hope the shirt fits and everything...I'm going to have to post that by itself I'm so proud of it <3

this has been so much fun!.!
