46  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / A necklace. on: March 13, 2007 03:41:49 AM

The photo turned out yellow, dunno why. The whole necklace should be white.
47  CANADA / British Columbia / Card making: Looking for free size "card" making paper. Thank you. on: March 06, 2007 11:20:22 PM
I am into card making. However I am into free size card making, so those packages of cards that are pre-fold with envelope doesn't work for me.

I like sometimes I may make a square card or a long retangular card, etc etc. This is what I meant by I need free size.

I want to be able to buy single sheets to choose color
, since the package sheets have some color that I don't need.

Anyone know which store (big or small) can I get them? How big, how much?

Micheal in Richmond, Loomis in Main.....anymore store? I don't drive, I am willing to take a bus. But I don't have the time and money to take bus to "every" location to check out.
48  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Making an apron thicker. on: March 02, 2007 01:21:05 AM
I brought a piece of fabric which I think it's good for apron, coz water don't go thru easily. But it's a bit thin, I want to make a thicker. What should I add to make it thicker? But not too thick that it will become too warm. LOL coz I want my apron to be top to bottom, not just start at my waist.

I am totally a beginner in sewing.

Thank you.

p.s. the search system here is kind of tricky.....

*map of the forum?/ *swap?

Hi, I am a newbie. This is such a big and systematic forums. I feel overwhelm by all the functions, those sub forums and their mini rooms Shocked
Other than the "jump to" option, is there a map or sth?
I sometimes accidentally click to a category when I look thru the 'jump to' option, that's why.

And what's a swap? like exchange crafts material?

Thanx Wink
