Thats no problem  Wink

Thought I'd let y'all know, They only deliver to the address that your credit/debit card is registered to (if that's how you pay - don't think it matters if you pay via bank transfer or cheque). I entered my work address for delivery but they rejected it... shame - It's such a pain having to go and collect packages!

I've just ordered some samples from Europeanwear - a few mens t-shirts, girls t-shirts and a girls hoodie. Their FAQ's say that you have to provide a company name (for their records only), but it doesn't have to be a registered company name. I just put the name of my website, which isn't registered as a business (it isn't even set up yet!) - and will probably sell my t-shirts at my husbands gigs.

That Europeanwear site looks ace! I've been looking for something like that for ages to make t-shirts for my husbands band. Have you ordered from them yet? if so, whats the quality like?

24  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Kureyon Husband Scarf! on: January 31, 2005 01:18:41 AM

i love diagonal rib - it's so easy and looks so good!

You're right though, lisascenic. I have to be careful not to overdo it! My new rule is going to be to take a break and make a cup of tea or read a book at least once an hour.

I totally love those hats, and this book!

I've just bought yarn for the Pashmina Cowl. The yarn called for is a little out of my price range, but easily substituted with 3 balls of Rowan Wool Cotton.

26  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Kureyon Husband Scarf! on: January 29, 2005 11:39:04 AM
Hello All,

I've started a scarf for my darling husband. It's far from finished (even though my arms ache from knitting all day!), but I'm just so pleased with it that I had to share it with y'all.

Here's a link to a (large) picture:

It's made from Noro Kureyon yarn, in shade 116 (my husband chose it), and I used the Diagonal Rib pattern on About - here's a link:

Hopefully I'll finish it before the winter is over!

NOTE: I've now finished this scarf, here's a (large) picture of the finished product!

Boy did that Noro need fabric softener....
27  U.K. AND IRELAND / ENGLAND / Anyone In Norwich? on: January 26, 2005 05:07:51 AM
I'm going to be moving there in April - as work has made me and my husband redundant! (we work together).

Just wondering if there's any SnB's, or yarn shops apart from John Lewis...

I know this isn't craft related, but did anyone watch Dick N Dom this morning? I was on it with my husband and a group of good friends. We got to throw Creamy Muck Muck (custard) at the kids and eachother whilst they raced around the bungalow!
