811  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Just a lil survey: How do you contain your sewing fabrics? on: September 09, 2007 05:43:43 PM
I am also trying to figure this out.  I just started getting into sewing and right now everything is in random piles scattered around the room.  I'd like to organize everything by color and have it somewhere that is easily accessible but haven't figured out how to do it yet.  I am definitely thinking some sort of shelving though.
812  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: You know you're a craftster when... (part TWO!) on: September 09, 2007 05:37:45 PM
YKYACW your feet are cold and your first thought is "I need to learn how to knit socks..."  Cheesy
813  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Re: Folders for the bookmarks. on: September 09, 2007 05:20:20 PM
This is something that I have seen mentioned a bunch in the FOC section so you are not alone  Cheesy  I think I remember reading that this is something that Leah wants to look into, she's just not sure when it will happen.
814  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: what happens if i hit the "report to moderator" button? on: September 09, 2007 04:53:49 PM
Seeing people quote images is the one I always want to report but never do for some reason.  Then again I always feel silly when I hit the Report to Moderators button, like I am tattling or something  Cheesy
815  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: The Look of Craftster on: September 09, 2007 04:50:04 PM
Sounds like a refresh problem.  I'm not actually sure where the button is that you are seeing, but when the problem happens what are you doing? Is it when you first go to a page or are you scrolling down and seeing it?  Does refreshing the page fix it?  It might also be a caching issue.  You might want to try clearing your browser's cache.  Tools > Clear Private Data > and check Cache (might not hurt to check all of the boxes but you will probably have to re-login to Craftster).  Hope that helps!

820  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: But those were my favorite.... on: September 09, 2007 07:15:34 AM
they wont be effective as knitting large items though, they would catch on any yarn...plus the feel in your hand would change..i know they WERE your favorite, but they will quickly become hard to work with and make you not want to knit

Unfortunately this is probably true.  If you do try to fix them with mod podge (or other glue), make sure you sand them after to make sure they are completely smooth.  Good luck!
