1  Re: Knit Along for Thrummed Mittens in Knitalongs by b1znatch on: November 26, 2007 04:54:21 PM
I knit the yarn and the thrum together. I think without doing this, the thrums would be more likely to fall out.
I finished my second pair. Here they are with their recipient:

I finished my first pair last week! The recipient was very excited and wears them all the time. I plan to make at least 3 more pairs as gifts and one pair for myself. I love how warm they are!

Here's one of them!

3  Re: Magknits Rainbow Socks KAL in Knitalongs by b1znatch on: October 11, 2007 09:59:30 PM
Here's my progress. I'm using Regia Jacquard yarn (I got it on sale, that's why the colors are so hideous). The yarn doesn't work well with the pattern, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work well with any pattern. I'll keep working on them anyway to get rid of the yarn.

The pattern is really easy and lots of fun to do!

4  Re: An Awesome Cabled bag from Garnstudio! in Knitalongs by b1znatch on: October 03, 2007 12:49:49 PM
I realize that I was probably never part of this knitalong, but I did finish the bag back in April, so I thought I'd provide some encouragement to those still working on it:

I forgot to decrease the top and add a buttonhole, but I like it anyway. It's made out of Plymouth Encore, double stranded. I gave it to a friend who loved it, so I don't have any other pictures of it.

Good luck to the rest of you with your bags!
