2  skirt, part one! in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by alice_adrift on: June 26, 2004 07:59:50 PM
okay, it's not finished yet, but here is the first skirt i am making, just so you can see where it is so far:

i need to take the white stitching out, and then i want to add a ribbon detail at the top that will not only look spiff but will also help me adjust it so i can wear it at my waist or my hips.
also i wanted to add a stencil at the front somewhere, since there is a lot more red fabric than i had planned on. i think it's going pretty well so far, though, it's basically finished, at least structurally. oh, and just a side note... this isn't the pleated skirt that i keep talking about, but a different one.

next, i'm going to do a modification of your 2nd tute... where i am actually going to use the pleated skirt. i don't know when i'll get around to it, though, because i'm so busy lately Sad but rest assured, your ideas are being put to good use!
