21  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Stitchalongs / Re: Hoopla A-Long 2013-until the END OF TIME on: December 06, 2016 04:32:13 PM
My mom loves those free cross stitch patterns from Country Living.  They're cute, but super boring to stitch.  Knowing she'd probably ask me to do this one for her anyway, I decided to make it one of her Christmas presents. Also it's my entry for the hoopla-along.

Thanks everyone! He found the image online and I used my software to make the pattern.

Continuing his dark Disney stitching, my husband's latest cross stitch is Goofy's mug shot.  I think he did a great job!  It fits in an 8x10 frame.

I still haven't talked him into making his own craftster account.  C & C is welcome because he likes to see what people think of his work.

Dang it. I guess that's the risk of buying patterns on Etsy.

I got the pattern from "LittleCrossStitch" on Etsy but it doesn't look like her shop is open anymore.

Thank you everyone!  My coworker was like "will you make me one?" and I said "hell no!  But I'll teach you to cross stitch so you can make your own" and she seemed pretty excited.

Thanks everyone!  It was fun until I got to the hunchback because he was the 2nd to last character I had to stitch and he was just a big blob of yuck.

This monster took me about a month and a half to complete.  Finished size is about 13"x12".  So many colors!

I like that it has some of the more classic and obscure characters like Robin Hood, Baloo, Bianca, Mr. Toad and Cuzco.  Now the question is where in the world am I going to find wall space for this?

I seriously love that Evil Queen Minnie!  Great job!
