1  Is it a Clutch or a Game Case? in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by amigurl55 on: April 26, 2017 07:00:25 PM
...it's both!  I made these bags that can either be a clutch or a handy case for Nintendo Switch.

Here's a cute Legend of Zelda one

And a kickin' Super Heroine one.

I made them from my own design, it was kind of a trial-and-error thing.  Thanks for looking!

2  Alice in Wonderland Table Runner in Quilting: Completed Projects by amigurl55 on: April 24, 2017 05:49:54 AM
My mom signed me up for a monthly sew sampler box and it has mostly quilting stuff. I haven't quilted for a long time and even then it was small wall quilts and mostly appliqu or paper piecing.  So I figured what the heck, I'll give this table runner pattern a try.  The original pattern is huge, probably for a proper dining room table, but I just needed one for my coffee table.

I goofed a little on the binding but I'm happy with how it turned out.  Thanks for looking!

Here's my hoop for April!  It is a tiny hoop, not more than 3".

4  You were fantastic- 9th Doctor Cross Stitch in Needlework: Completed Projects by amigurl55 on: January 26, 2017 04:45:00 PM
I love the 9th Doctor. I wish he would've been on for more seasons. I found this pattern on Etsy, and it's the Doctor made out of a quote. It says "you were fantastic, absolutely fantastic. And you know what? So was I."

He's about 14" high and was really fun to stitch.

5  Sexy Patriot Pillow Case in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by amigurl55 on: January 21, 2017 08:29:04 PM
My mom gave me this hilarious fabric and I wasn't sure what to do with it.  Then I thought a pillow case would be perfect.

6  I Heart the Doctor Coin Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by amigurl55 on: January 21, 2017 06:45:41 PM
I found this pattern/tutorial at Dog Under My Desk.  I'm a fan of Doctor Who and I found this fabric with all his regenerations and thought it would be fun to make a heart shaped coin purse with it.

7  9th Doctor Who-pla in Needlework: Completed Projects by amigurl55 on: January 12, 2017 06:58:59 PM
The 9th Doctor is my most favorite.  I did this hoopla of him.  He's in an 8" hoop.

He was really fun to stitch, but he took more than a whole skein of black floss!

9  Godzilla and Other Hooplas in Needlework: Completed Projects by amigurl55 on: December 06, 2016 04:41:20 PM
My husband and I went a little crazy and decided to make most people's Christmas gifts this year.  This, of course, includes hooplas since we love our cross stitch.

My husband made this one for our friends.

He also made this little Pooh ornament for his sister.

And I made this one for my brother, who is a gunsmith.

My mom loves those free cross stitch patterns from Country Living.  They're cute, but super boring to stitch.  Knowing she'd probably ask me to do this one for her anyway, I decided to make it one of her Christmas presents. Also it's my entry for the hoopla-along.
