1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Frock Camisole-IK mag?? on: April 05, 2008 01:32:10 PM
The pattern for this [http://www.interweaveknits.com/preview/2008_spring.asp#Frock-Camisole] was supposed to be available free from Knitting Daily on March 31st, but  it is not available yet.  I'm looking forward to making this top.  I wonder if the folks at IK changed their minds about offering it.  Sad
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Should I even try to adapt this pattern to my size? on: November 27, 2007 05:39:14 PM
I consider myself a beginner + knitter, and  have a 40 inch bust.  Could I adapt this vest from the largest size (34 inches) to my size by simply adding ribbing to the sides and modifying the armholes?  Or do you think it would required much more complicated changes? Thanks for your help everyone.  http://www.unicornbooks.com/pattern_Bsscablevest.asp
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Raglan-different sleeve & body color? on: December 08, 2006 10:35:20 AM
Is it a bad idea when knitting a topdown raglan sweater to have the sleeves one color and the body another?  Is intarsia, which I don't know, required in order to keep the sleeves and body from separating?
Thanks, I'm obviously a newbie.
