A asked Steven (nicknamed Giina, though no one really knows why) what he wanted for his birthday, and he said he wanted me to make him a hat. He told me to make whatever I wanted, so I asked him if he wanted it to be "normal" or be able to bee seen from 300 yards away.
I don't know why more people trust me artistic license.http://photos-858.ak.facebook.com/ip002/v71/201/74/503877768/n503877768_47858_4241.jpg
The cheap acrylic yarn from Wal-Mart didn't like blocking, so it was pretty lumpy when I finished it. This picture was taken right after I gave it to him, and the lumps have mostly worked their way out with wear.http://photos-859.ak.facebook.com/ip002/v71/201/74/503877768/n503877768_47859_5765.jpgBig black blocks of letters spelling "Giina"
I had way too much fun making this hat, to say the least. It was the first pattern I put together on my own. It's simple, but it makes me happy.
