12  It just got bigger and bigger... in Beads: Completed Projects by olenka on: April 08, 2006 11:53:41 PM
Last weekend my best friend Caroline rediscovered her love for costume moves based on historical frenchnovels. I decided that I must celebrate that with making small piece of jewelry in most "royal" colors of old gold and red. I started up with idea of making just a simple circle wheel pedant but somehow that project got bigger and bigger. I ended up with 4 piece set- earing's, bracelet, ring, and necklace. If I knew at the beginning that it will be a set I would use some beads in different places but I don't have a heart to take those apart and start all over again.

And this is chocker I made to match my scull earing's. I used plastic beads, crocheting thread and embroidery needle (what a great feeling after working with microscopic beads and needles).

15  Attack of fabric from hell and many more (PH) in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects by olenka on: March 02, 2006 02:20:15 AM
Not long a go i realised that I'm total slave Black color, and I feel strange in anything that is not black.I like dressing this whey but the knowledge that it is colour addiction and that there are so many beautyfull colours in the world made me long fore something ....colorfull.
To saw properly I did have to measure myself (and I haven't dome it in a long time) it wasn't pleasant I'm 2 size bigger then I thought. It is not a tragedy yous self knowledge I will see how much money I can saver on chocolate by reducing my delay portions by half Roll Eyes
OK so hire are some of clothes that I made fore myself.

My newest skirt made from Burda magazine. I made it from a bathrobe I bought in a trifle store. It was a bath robe That somebody made by themself, and when I saw it I was sure that the previous owner was not an experience seamstress (ore somebody working in rush) . Non of the seams was strait and the bottom line was  very wacky. Soon I learned that It was a fabric form hell, it had mind on its own and was moving in all unwanted directions (I worked with sateen before but it wasn't that bad). Only those beautiful characters on the fabric kept me going. To finish of the bottom of skirt I used very not Asian trim but it was an only whey to do it more or less strait.

this is my cat showing how comfortable scraps of that fabric are.

This skirt is made from velvet from trifle store bought dress with full skirt part

On two pictures shown I'm wearing a blouse with is very simple on the front but it has lacing on the back (home work fore everyone try macking pictures of your back you cant imagine whey your body can twist  Grin)

16  Inner spring [a lot of picks but all are necessary :)] in CHALLENGE 9 ENTRIES by olenka on: February 03, 2006 06:59:34 AM
I wonted to participate in this challenge from the moment it was announced. While I was wondering how to make my exact tween. Suddenly very sad thought came to my mind "There is no point of doing that project because it will be fat ugly and boring doll that nobody will wont to look at". Till that moment I was sure that my dyes of low self esteem are behind me, that challenge made me realise that there is still  something wrong with my self image and that it still sucks joy out of my life.
I decided to create a doll that will show not only how I look but also how I fell and what kind of hopes I have fore the future.
From what was said in the post announcing the challenge I understand that I'm not the only one that have troubles with self image so I hope some of you can relate to my doll.
1) This is more ore less how I look like. Doll is dressed in the miniature version of my favorite black hoed, and black skirt with lace trim. What you cant see very well of photos is that hoode hes zipper and pockets and that there. Doll also has black and white stockings.

2) When you take of dolls clothes you can see all the fares about my self and about my future. You can see also that There is hole inside.

3) When you open the whole you can see my hopes that there is something good inside of me and that in the future I will be able to "blossom"

This is pattern I altered to mack my doll http://judisdolls.com/angel/page1.html

subject coming soon  (sorry lack of ideas in that field)

I'm graduating in the beginning of 2006 and I don't have much time fore beading, and that makes me really frustrated. So last night I decided to mack goodbay party fore beading (only 2 months) so I made couple of small things.
2 pares of earrings

cycle wheel pedant

And pedant that has short ribbons and i use it instead of broach of my shawls and scarfs.

This is small wrist bag that I made couple months ago. The design on the front spoused look like rose pattern, it is made by layering two pieces of fabric and padding in betwine them.

This is my new masanger bag. Picture is awful but bag itself is elegant made from black velvet. It is based on Jody bag tutorial I just added flap and front pockets gathered with elastic.

19  big and small finished projects in Crochet: Completed Projects by olenka on: November 12, 2005 04:50:20 AM

This is the bigest thing I have ever crocheted. It is a triangle shaped shoal, its longest age is a little longer then my spread arms so I can cowere my self in it completely. I is very warm and cozy. It took me more that 3 weeks of crocheting ( bus , betwine classes, instead of watching TV, and one day of national Holiday. UFF Wink) Big challenge was also the pattern that was written fore it (I used only shames before) and to mack things more complicated the whoas mistake in the print so I'm awfully proud of my self.
It is hard to tack a photo of the thing that is so big so hire are smaller bits.

To mack that scarf i used pattern fore a trim I loved it fore that leafs like look. I added that lighter shade of green stripes after the whole scarf was done to mack it more wind protecting.

And that is small pouch I made for my friend but i love the pattern so much i probably mack more of those. It doesn't have a lining i just stuffed it so you can see better how it looks.
