I love this bracelet!  Nicely done!

I'd love to make one with some of my favorite from-when-I-was-a-kid tv shows.  Where did you find the blank charms?

You're welcome.  I know how frustrating it is when you lose a manual you need.  The good news is that these days you can often find what you need online.  I don't know which model camera you have, but there's a really good chance you can access the manual for it here:  http://www.retrevo.com/samples/Canon-Digital-Camera-manuals.html

I can't see the photo in your post but I have a Canon Powershot so maybe I can offer a couple of pointers.  First, make sure you are shooting in macro mode.  That's the mode with the little flower icon.  I prefer to shoot close-ups with good, bright indirect lighting instead of using the flash (which can wash out your photo).  Natural lighting is best.  Shooting outdoors on a bright sunny day can be great.  Be sure to work in the shade to reduce shadows.  A tripod can help stabilize the camera and help you to get a clear shot.

To reduce the file size, you can select the smallest resolution your camera offers.  You can also use software to crop your photos and reduce the pixels per inch.  As few as 72 pixels per inch can look great on a monitor.  If you are printing your photos, 300 pixels per inch is a good choice.

And don't forget to practice, practice, practice!  That's easy to do with a digital camera since you won't be wasting film.

Good luck!

How pretty!  I like it a lot.  It doesn't look quick, though.  It looks like you spent a lot of time making it.  How long did it take?

That style and size chain really complements your work, by the way.

Oooh, I like it!  You did a great job.  I'll bet when you wear that ring, people can't keep their eyes off it.  Do the natural movements of your hand keep it spinning?

I love it!  You did a great job and the fabric you chose is perfect.  I've thought about recovering my computer chair but I hardly know where to start.  Do you have any advice for someone like me who has no experience with a project like this?
