Everyone's fiber looks amazing, as usual.
Woodlandsprite, your Raspberry Truffle is amazing. I love that pink.
Here's mine for this week, all done on a bottom whorl spindle:
This was earlier in the week; I wanted to experiment with Wilton's Violet. It looks blue in this picture, but it actually is a deep plum color. Natural light plays all sorts of weird tricks with colors. I almost wish it was the color in this picture. This was just the last bit of some roving... I spun it and then dyed it.http://i19.tinypic.com/47w937s.jpg
One of the rovings that I dyed yesterday. I used Wilton's bright yellow, black and brown icing dyes. I love how the black separated; on the flip side, there are little red spots where I accidentally flicked some black dye that was left on my spoon. It looks cool; I hardly want to spin it!http://i19.tinypic.com/2a0nofc.jpg
This is a single spun from a roving dyed with Wilton's kelly green, royal blue and copper. The copper turned chocolatey brown in spots, and it looks awesome with the green. I think I'll be doing four ounces of roving with just copper and kelly green next week.
After I get both of these rovings spun up, I'll probably ply them together, and make a pair of slippers out of the yarn.
