21  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Valentine's Day Heart Basket on: January 26, 2011 06:06:15 AM
This is made in-the-hoop. Then the pieces are "woven" together. Add a ribbon hanger and it's done. Smiley

23  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / "Read." Book Totes on: January 16, 2011 08:39:58 AM
These were featured in Designs in Machine Embroidery magazine. The "Read." embroidery file is free to download from their site. They haven't uploaded the instructions yet, but I'd be happy to send the instructions file if you PM me your email address if you'd like to make them yourself. Smiley
There's a small pocket inside for your library card. Also fits a Kindle. Smiley

Hi, everyone. Haven't been here for awhile. This is my newest project.  Smiley
It's made in-the-hoop and was really quick and easy to make. I digitized it using Bernina V6 software.
27  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Zipper in lined pouch on: October 19, 2006 06:28:09 AM
Hi everyone, I'm relatively new here and this is my first question. Thanks in advance for any help Smiley I am having a bugger of a time getting a zipper into a lined pouch an have it look good up in the corners where the zipper ends. I have looked at Erika's tutorial, "Make a lined, zippered pouch", which is great, but mine are coming out so lumpy & not smooth up in each corner. Does anyone have any tips for getting these zipper corners to look "clean". I've seen a lot of pouches on etsy that look so polished and professional and I just can't get it right. I sew for a living and it's making me feel stupid  Undecided Please help Smiley Thanks so much!!
