EEEE!!!! It's here! And I was majorly spoiled! Thank you so much!

Okay, since my amazing partner took pictures, I have pm'd her to see if she wants to post them or email them to me to post-whatever she wants!

I was sooo spoiled. A necklace that I've already told my daughter she can't have Smiley , a painted box, a tote bag, a fabulous notebook, and the most amazing piece of art to hang up! She so got carried away crafting for this. Pixiefirefly, you rock!
FedEx was supposed to deliver hers today, but the website says 'not found', even though the 800 number says it's on the truck. Oh, I hope it arrives soon!
I'll keep checking on it!
2114  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: What are your favorite salad toppings/ingredients? on: August 25, 2010 12:02:51 AM
Iceberg lettuce. Topped with-mix cottage cheese with a dollop of miracle whip. Original recipe that Blue Boar Cafeteria used called for onion juice, white pepper, and salt-I used dried minced onion instead. Odd but good.

hee, when I was a little kid, I insisted on a wedge of lettuce and just salt. I wouldn't touch salad dressing.
The Enchanted Broccoli Forest has a salad made of dark leafy greens tossed with a teeny bit of oil, and the topping is orange segments, cut without the skin, the juice it makes and maybe a little more, a little honey and cinnamon. Also almonds or pecans. It called for sliced red onion, but I like red bell pepper better.

Bracers? Awesome. I like the rings for adding charms later. The entire outfit is nifty.
And I love all of the artwork, the zeppelin especially. I need to do learn how to do images like that...and cool jewelry, too!
Swap anxiety setting in! Smiley
2117  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: I Would Do Anything for Meat Loaf- EDIT: The results of the concert are in! on: August 23, 2010 09:48:15 PM
Oh, what a great story! I love Meatloaf, too. I'm glad the concert trip turned out so well.
Your stuff was amazing!
2118  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Christmas ornaments with old board games? on: August 23, 2010 09:28:50 PM
Cut traditional ornament shapes-bells, ect.-out of interesting bits from boards and boxes.
I like the origami monopoly money idea!
2119  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Broken Depression Glass on: August 23, 2010 09:16:42 PM
Jewelry? Sand edges, use copper foil tape and solder? Use one of the image reproduction techniques on here to add an image? Is it translucent/transparent? Somewhere on here I've seen jewelry made from broken china plates.
Make a windchime, but for indoor use because it's glass?
2120  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Old car keys?? on: August 23, 2010 09:11:42 PM
Put it in your signature, offer to trade a stash of keys for something you want, like scarapbook paper or yarn or whatnot?
Steampunk jewelry uses keys. Make a frame/glue them on a frame as a border, for a picture of a car?
I do like the windchime idea.
