That's a fantastic blanket!  For some reason it reminds me of Andy Warhol's pictures of Marilyn Monroe. Grin

Re the mohair pants/suit:

Wouldn't those be horrendously uncomfortable?  I thought mohair is supposed to be itchy!  And the pants have feet - I couldn't stand wearing footie pajamas as a kid, and they weren't even mohair...

Sorry, I just found that bewildering.

Very cute!
One of my professors has a huge Totoro hanging on the wall in his office.  I never knew what it was...but now you've enlightened me.  Smiley

10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: Pets or weird people doing weird things to your craft.... on: October 07, 2006 08:19:54 PM
So I visited my first knitting store and got a set of 5 US #2 double-pointed needles.  Bamboo.  Very nice, very expensive.

A couple weeks later I was getting ready to go back to school and piling stuff I wanted to take with me on my bed, including the needles in their package.  My mom came in and said, "I didn't know you were allowed to burn incense in the dorms."

"I'm not."

"Then why are you taking it with you?" (pointing at needles)

Thankfully my mom didn't decide to burn any "incense", but I shudder to think what could have happened if I hadn't explained what they really were...  Shocked
