11  Embroidered mini pillow with dragonfly in Needlework: Completed Projects by delfina on: September 26, 2007 09:43:25 PM
This is very small, about five inches across. (I posted a similar one not long ago.) I like to do freeform stuff, making it up as I go. I find that more relaxing and less stressful than trying to follow a pattern and worrying that I'm getting it wrong!

The sides are pink and green, in a sort of checked pattern.

Back and side.

13  Crocheted people or critters, not sure which they are in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by delfina on: September 15, 2007 07:02:08 PM
The first one is a woman I guess, she just has no hair. Smiley The other one has four legs so I guess it's not a person.  Cheesy I made these up as I went along, starting from the top. It's all crochet. None of the parts are sewn together, except that the eyes and mouths are sewn on. They both can stand up tho you can't tell from the picture.

I made these while I was visiting my parents last month. My mom has loads of small balls of leftover yarn from knitting that she's done.

This is very small, about four and a half inches. The center is crocheted and then sewn on. I don't know the names of the stitches used, but I think it's pretty easy to tell how it was done. I made up the design as I went along. I like to make small stuff because I don't have a lot of patience. Cheesy
