1  Custom wedding cake order in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by rachelbunny on: October 20, 2011 03:56:26 PM
This was a lot of fun to make. I tried a bunch of new techniques and I'm really proud of the topper. I carefully sculpted, painted, and glazed it. The topper is about 16 millimeters and the entire cake is just over 3 inches. There's a thin piece of ribbon at the base of each tier that I added on after baking. Probably one of my most favorite pieces so far. Can't wait until she gets it.

3  Teeny Necco candy dots in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by rachelbunny on: August 19, 2011 02:49:07 PM
Mixing the colors was the hardest part and getting it into the bag. But yay. Loved these as a kid even though now they taste like crap to me. They're such an aesthetically pleasing candy to look at.

6  Tiny Lord Stingray(from Superjail) in a box in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by rachelbunny on: August 17, 2011 12:24:45 AM
I love Superjail!....I carefully crafted him from polymer and painted on details, then I put together the box with clear cellophane and printed out the images from online and glued them on.

7  Flower hairpiece in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by rachelbunny on: July 29, 2011 10:58:41 PM
I got a flower from Michael's, took it apart and re-glued it to re-enforce it's strength, layed on a few layers of tulle, then a few feathers, a piece of felt, and a clip. And I glued on some Swarovski crystals in the center. I tried it out on my friend(pictured with braid) cause I'm doing her hair for her wedding. She loves it. Grin

8  Another little cake in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by rachelbunny on: May 01, 2011 09:40:10 PM
Made this for me friend's upcoming birthday. Probably one of my fave creations. I got my inspirtion from a wedding cake from Cake Boss. It was white though and my friend's fave color is purple so I altered it. I used glass microbeads in gold at the intersection of each quilt. Love how it turned out and really made the purple pop.

My cousin got married in October and I've re-created it. I made a timeline of the process as well.
