1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Erika Knight Cables and Arans book error... or I'm crazy on: January 10, 2009 06:26:35 AM
Hi everyone! I thought I'd share this with you - I found my answer + some!
Wanted to share this website incase anyone else had questions about knitting terms
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Erika Knight Cables and Arans book error... or I'm crazy on: January 09, 2009 08:09:40 PM
I'm hoping someone can help me
I am trying the pattern in her book Cables and Arans, pg.129 Bobbles and Waves.
Row 3 has 'T5F' Twist 5 Front.
The back of the book says," slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold in front of work, purl next 2 sts from left hand needle, then knit sts from cable needle.
Call me crazy but that's only 4 sts accounted for.
Question is, do I slip 2 onto cn, then work 3 sts, then work the 2 from cn??? or do I slip 3 onto cn, work 2 from left hand needle, the 3 from cn??? Thanks for any help you can give me  Grin
I looked at a websit for errata but it said there was none to post

I haven't started yet - I'm trying to finish up some projects but I have been researching other blankets for inspiration and this is what I found.
I'm also waiting for the results from my coworker... I was thinking of maybe just the motifs in the middle and some nice cable detail on the edges

Beautiful Crescentfresh!
The legwarmers I was knitting have turned into scarves Sad
Money is tight but I still want to give nice presents so what's better than a scarf right!
I will post pics this weekend - the scarf came out so well that a lady I work with is going to buy one from me!!!
~possible KAL?
Does anyone have an interest in the shalom sweater???
9  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: interweave knits fall 08 on: November 08, 2008 02:27:01 PM
I was going to knit the Abigail Tee - I have 3 projects going right now but I figure, so long as I can count the number of projects on one hand, I'm in good shape and at least 1 project will be done by the end of 2008! Tongue
That leaves me with 1 more project.... probably a scarf of some sort.... anyways, check out the Abigail Tee and let me know if that's something you'd like to knit!
