My best friend just got a new desktop computer after having the oldest slowest laptop running Windows ME for the last 4 years.

It just came with a cheapo ball mouse, and I thought I might get her a cute optical mouse for Christmas. her favorite color's purple.

so, has anyone decorated/painted a mouse before? what did you do and how?

I was planning on getting a basic logitech mouse like this one (they also come in white)

the obvious first step would be painting. what kind of paint? does the top part come off? or do I need to tape it or brush by hand?

what about other decroations like some kind of sparkles. is some sort of sealant needed?
