151  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / My First 8" X 8" Scrapbook "First Year of Marriage" on: July 18, 2006 09:35:18 PM
I was inspired to make this for my Nephew and his new wife by ntesprite17.  She makes some really cool scrapbooks, I think she uses paper bags, though.  I found this scrapbook at the dollar store for, guess, a dollar.  It had 20 pages in it.  I only used a few, because some of the pages were from brown postal wrapping paper.

Cover:  The  light green part was plain and I used a technique for printing your own rub-ons.

The rest are the inside pages:

Hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed making it.  I sure appreciate nitesprite17's inspiration.

I loved TLSG when my kids watched SS.  This is such a clever idea.  You could do this with just about any picture.

Oh my, these are tooooooooooo cute.  I can see all kinds of uses for them.  You can also get wine bottle-type of labels and put on them too. Grin

I did something similar to this back in the mid 70's.  But I did mine with Playboy pictures, I thought my mother was going to have a cow, though.  I was on my own then so it didn't matter.  I like yours and it brought back a little nostalgia.

Well, thank you.  I'm glad about helping with presents.  I am thinking about making a 3-D applique of my Sue and putting her on Appliance Cozies.  What do ya'll think about that idea?  Are appliance covers even used anymore?  I am going to make one as a Sunbonnet Sue Angel for the Kitchen/Bath.  Anyone with other ideas would be most helpful.

Well, so many interested!  My, oh my!  I had trouble with yahoo the other day took me all day to upload the attachment.  So I went and made a web site where you can download the Sewing Caddy, but also a Sunbonnet Air Freshener Cozy, and a Sunbonnet Mug Cozy.  Now, if you don't have an unzipping program then go to http://www.thefreesite.com/easyzip111.htm and you can download a free zip program.  Most everyone has a free program.  Then you can unzip the pattern, view in Adobe, and print.  Ta-dah!!!
So, the web site address is .  Thank you everyone for your kind remarks, you have made my days.
