1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Baby Booties with Tut! on: January 17, 2009 12:41:51 PM
Aw those are cute. If there was a baby for me to knit for I would knit those.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: The I-almost-lost-my-finger-for-these Mermaid Leggings. EDIT: Tutorial added on: November 08, 2008 11:56:06 AM
Question though: Is the material you used the same stretchyness as normal leggings? (Does that even makes sense?!) lol.

Uhhh I'm not sure, because I've never bought leggings before, only made them. But it's really stretchy since it was meant for dancewear, so most likely the answer to your question would be yes.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: My first outfit in a show. on: November 08, 2008 08:27:09 AM
Yeah I made the leggings too. I've been addicted to making them. I posted a tutorial here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=251506.msg2797728#msg2797728
These leggings I did a bit differently though; I made the ankles a bit tighter and a black zipper at the bottom of each leg so that you can actually get in them.
And if you don't want to make them, you can get some similar ones at American Apparel, except there you'll shell out about $40, whereas you can make a pair for about $10.
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / My first outfit in a show. on: November 07, 2008 08:47:38 PM
I made this dress and leggings for a fashion show we had at my school last night. The first picture is a more accurate representation of the color. I don't have a good photo from the actual show, but I'll post one anyway.

Love the scarf, it's a beautiful color brown.

Haha well it's actually a dark green, but the lighting in my dorm is less than great.

I love this. I really must knit some graffiti for my college.

You're welcome, although it really wasn't difficult haha. If someone decides to make them, please let me know if there is anything unclear in the tutorial. Oh, and also post yours after you make them. I'd love to see them.
