I'm still up for this one.  Paper is a great medium and free for the most part which is great for me since I don't have much money right now.  I have so many ideas and I just need motivation to start... This would surely get me to start.

ah maybe.  When I looked at the pictures it looked like they were just doing the chain for the shoulder strap, not the whole bag.  Just a thought.

I like this.  For one of my classes we made paper shoes.  Paper is one of my favorite meduims.  It would be neat to make wearables out of reused paper or even thin cardboard (I think called chipboard).  Just an idea.

I'm a minimalist and a weaver so I didn't use any extra materials except a little paint.  This is what I used and what I came up with.
I wove pipecleaners together and strung in some plastic lacing to enhance the pattern.  I painted small pasta pieces light pink for the ends.  The great thing about using pipeclears for this is that with the metal core you can bend it into all sorts of shapes for holding things.
