31  two HH scarves in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by mlcrays on: August 22, 2006 02:55:10 PM
I made the garden scarve with was my first HH project, but not the first to complete.  I wasn't paying attention to the hook size so a use a different one and then I lost it, so I started using another hook which made the flowes smaller, but oh well I finished it.  I also made the one skein scarve, that one only took a few hours to complete.  The garden scarve is made with wool of the andes from knitpicks and the one skein scarve is made with RW soft yarn.

32  knot ulgy shrug? cardigan? in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by mlcrays on: August 22, 2006 02:47:22 PM
I finished the knot ulgy shrug but I made it a bit longer.  I add 4 rows to the back and front. I made the size larger back and the ex-large front  since I wanted more coverage of my ginormous breasts.  I love the color of this and I am sure I will wear it often.

35  lazy short and sweet in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by mlcrays on: August 20, 2006 09:15:32 PM
I made the short and sweet, but I alter the pattern somewhat.  I did not do the relief stitch because I kept losing track, so I didn't bother with it.  I love the way that I turn out. I made a large and I feel that its a little big on me, but oh well. I still need to block it, but I wanted to share.

37  amigurumi insanity in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by mlcrays on: July 06, 2006 10:28:01 AM
ever since I first lay eyes on these toys I fell in love.  Knowing myself that is not a good thing, since I sorta go insane.  some how I found myself buying a few books from yesasia.com, then I went to a Japanese bookstore in the area, then I drove about 45 miles to get to another Japanese bookstore to get more amigurumi books.  Some how I mention this to my manager and she told me that her husband works for a Japanese company, and he travels to Japan frequently.  To make a long story short, he brings me amigurumi books from Japan when he goes every three months.
and this is the result

I have made a lot of amigurumi from the books and a few originals that I have gave away, but these are the ones that a havn't gave a way yet

Thank you for the tutorial.  I finished this a long time ago, but just got around to post it.  the hat part was easy, but the bill was a pain in the a$$.  I used some random yarn that I have in my stash with a k hook.

This is my first post, after lurking in here for months.  The first project that I finished was the Yeehaw lady hat, which I did in Bernat cotton.  I made A LOT of mistakes, but not obvious to the non-crocheters. Wink Wink
