1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / tiny little lunchboxes? on: December 17, 2003 11:09:25 PM
I found some candy at a dollar store packaged in tiny little lunchboxesw (with handles and everything!) - unfortunetly, they all have 'The Osbournes' or 'Buffy' or something equally gross on them - - (and the candy is gross).

So what can I make out of them other than itsybitsy storage?

I thought about pouring wax into the tin and making travel candles, but wasn't sure how to go about decorating the tin in a way that would not result in setting myself on fire.

Also, I'd like to make some kind of a fun stocking stuffer out of them for my mom - who collects weird retro lunchboxes - but she is not a candle person.

[I know someone will think of something!]
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Historical Paper Dolls? on: November 25, 2003 08:17:10 PM
So I have a bunch of sets of historical paper dolls from when I was little, mostly Tom Tierney - 20s, 30s, civil war era, etc - all the costumes and little accesories (like top hats!).

What can I make with them??
