Thanks Riki! But I think I'm going to knit it in one piece for the first time. Maybe if everything turns out alright I'll go for something more difficult

26  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Blanket on: May 11, 2009 02:11:07 AM
I'm kinda new to knitting and I only made a scarf up till now. Since I'm moving in a couple of weeks I'd like to make a comfy blanket for when I'm watching television. What sort of knitting needles should I use for a blanket?
I've heard of knitting needles with a piece of plastic between them that connects them, is this what I should use?
+ do you have other tips for me?

Love bonbabbu!

This is a great idea! It looks so pretty! Did you notice an odour or something when you made it?
28  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Book Lovers Swap Gallery! on: May 03, 2009 03:11:16 AM
What a great load!!!!  OMG, that I [raven] Poe is so awesome!!!  I would love one on a shirt!  And that sheep is so cute!  Also, that post card book is really neat.  Bonbabbu, do you happen to have more pics of that?  I'd love to see more, it's so different!

I'm sorry, I also only have a pic of the first page, it's very simple to make, you can make it with any postcard you'd like. I got the idea of a book that was made out of empty food boxes etc. And when it's full you can easily add extra pages!

My partner really knew what I liked!
Here you can see the book: The host by Stephenie Meyer ( I'm so glad I got this book! I was wondering if I'd like this book when I saw it in the book shop but now I'm addicted to it!
You can also see the AWESOME!!!!! craftster tote! I love it! I went swimming with it already.
Then there's a very beautiful necklace of the Twilight series( I'm a big fan!) and a beautiful and very original bookmark!
