I was going thru some bags of recon scraps and ran across the shirt from the below post. So I redid it. Nothing special, but At least I can wear it now. The logo on the front is awesome.
The whole thing:
Close up of the front:
Just added black stripes up the sides and added black sleeves. Yay for finally following thru!

I was resizing a men's L t-shirt with a cool flying monkey thing on the front. I take a men's M but this shirt was really boxy and unflattering. Hence, the recon from hell.
I went through just about every shirt in my closet looking for one that I wanted to model it after. Found one the perfect shape, clung to all of my curves the way I wanted it to, figured it'd be easy. I was wrong. Very wrong.
I carefully pinned it down, traced with disappearing ink and cut it out carefully. I even used the stretch knit finishing stitch on my machine in a matching thread. Total it took about 20 minutes.
I was so proud that I wanted to try it on and admire my handiwork. Maybe dance a little in front of the mirror and basically feel awesome.
Well, I got it on okay, but it looked horrible. I had cut it a little too small everywhere, and a LOT too small in the armholes and the bust. It smooshed my chest to the point that I looked like a boy (and I have D's). So, there I am with this too-tight shirt on, looking in the mirror and trying to figure out what I could do to fix it. That's when I noticed that my fingers were tingling.
The armholes were so tight that they were cutting off my circulation! And, to make things worse, I couldn't get the darn thing off. I tried everything to get it off. I was getting a little frantic as my fingertips were turning a pretty purple color. I even tried to hook the back of the neckband over the doorknob so I could pull it off. The only thing that the doorknob method succeeded in doing was slamming the door into my head repeatedly with the stretchiness of the shirt (I felt sooooo stupid).
I finally had to get the scissors and cut it off of me. At least I cut it up the sides so I can still (hopefully) salvage the shirt. The shirt is a pale grey/blue color with black and tan on the front. I'm thinking about just adding a few inch wide strip in black fabric down the sides and maybe re-doing the sleeves with a matching stripe either on the underneath or along the top. Suggestions are welcome.
I wanted to share this in the hopes that someone else out there has resized something that ended up wayyyyyy too small. And to hopefully make someone laugh with the image of me beating myself in the head with my bathroom door.
