I made this stocking for the Christmas stocking swap. Artsycandace  said she liked a woodlands theme so this is what I came up with.

All the felt critters were made using Sarafina.com  tutorials.

I received the most absolutely fabulous stocking from Artsycandice.
First the beautiful quilted stocking and an overflow gift:

And then the back of the stocking:

All the gifts wrapped:

I love leaves. And Candice sent me two leaf bowls,  incredible leaf ornaments in some of my favorite colors, and two leaf hair ornaments.

Owls!!! An mother owl w/ baby to hang on the wall, an owl ornament, and a feather hair ornament.

I love  goddess images, and now I have a fabulous goddess wall hanging, and a cute goddess pin to wear.

Fabulous fabric pieces with prints on them:

Two Christmas towels, a Christmas pen with jingle bells, a wire wrapped necklace, and a yummy smelling candle:

And if that wasn't enough I got the most wonderful art doll ever. I mentioned I would love an art doll, and that I was strangely fascinated by plague doctors. And she made me a fabulous one. My pictures really don't do it justice. ( Candace if you have better pictures please post):

And look at the details. A little pouch, a key, and an incense holder.

I love the whole package. Thank you so much!

kmac, the comment about the hardware store has me curious  Smiley

Well I managed to finish the project without a trip to the hardware store, though I did break a few drill bits.   A trip to the store for some sweets and it will be ready to pack up.

After a week of procrastination I finally put the finishing touches on the stocking,  and I really like it. I was so afraid my idea would not work.  Now I just need to finish one of the major stuffers (which may or may not require a trip to the hardware store),  figure out one more small stuffer to make, put together one of the bought items, get some sweet treats, and pack the whole thing up to mail. No stress whatsoever! Grin

Then the hard part starts.  WAITING!!
Waiting for my partner to receive, waiting to receive my stocking, waiting to see if my partner likes what I made her, waiting until pictures are posted.  Like I said, the hard part.

The first Christmas stocking swap I participated in my partner sent me a little tree with ornaments. That was about 10 years ago, and I still remember it.
