121  Re: Fill A Coin Purse Round 5 GALLERY!! in The Swap Gallery by panda on: June 09, 2006 09:55:29 AM
Hi Ladies,

I just got email from my swap partner  ilovegummyworms, she said I could post her pic of my swap.  She has her hands full with new born and toddles.

To the left are the address book, key chain, book marker, and coin purse.  There are seed beads stitched on the coin purse.  Which I did not get pic of, sorry.

To the right are things I send the girls.

Look forward to another swap.  Smiley

124  Re: New purse, anyone? MINI TUTE in Crochetalongs by panda on: May 24, 2006 05:02:23 PM
OK here it goes....I bought fabric at wal mart for a $1.00, 2 1/2 yards.   Then I cut it into 1/4 inch strips.  I have included a pic of how to cut and put together so you do not have to sew in so many tails.

I have also included a website that has nice instruction and pictures.

Good Luck everyone Smiley

Very nice job...I understand about patterns this was suppose to be different........got mad and threw pattern aside.  This is what I came up with.

Fabric is Christmas ornaments and shinny fabric with bead.

Happy Sewing.  Smiley

127  Fabric Knit Kit-----Handbag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by panda on: May 17, 2006 09:00:20 AM
I purchased the kit at Walmart that was discounted but decided to change it some.

Fabric is cut into 1/8 inch strips.  It is knitted on both sides.  It was not that hard to work with fabric for knit or crochet.

Let me know what you think....I know I may make some others with different fabric and pattern.

Good Luck Everyone.   Smiley

Wow I am glad to see that I am not the only one doing that........here is mine

In my case the outside was not that good...but the inside was just fine.  All I have to do is add the strap.

129  Australia in a handbag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by panda on: May 11, 2006 09:06:01 AM
I made this out of one of those calender mad out of cloth....it is from 1985.  I purchased 3 of the towel or calanders at a church yard sale for 50 cent.  1-was this one 2-koalas and 3-kangaroo.  I also your fabric in purple (trigger) you can purchase at Hancock or Wal Mart.  Wal Mart is limited in colors.  Oh! this is for my daughter for Mother's Day, she collects koalas.

I am not sure if I got all pic mini tutorial
It is alittle on the large size, it will hold notebook and there are pocket for wallet, cell phone, pens, and keys.  Great for those scout meeting, keeps things together with out alot of bags (LOL).  Sorry not pic of inside it was to dark.

Thanks for peeking everyone....
