it was a self stripping yarn. I dont remember what kind of yarn exactly because i bought it like 8000 years ago. Something i changed from the knitty pattern, more by accident than anything, was making the neck section longer and then folded it over into a collar.

4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Bull (Bevo) Amigurumi on: April 27, 2009 02:18:26 PM
Im working on an amigurumi bull (Bevo for those Texas fans). On the head i want to make an oval for the nose, but I am having trouble with the increases to make this oval in the 3-d shape I need. I need the first row to be facing the front so that i can leave it open in the back to attach it to the rest of the head. Any help would be appreciated!
(____) <---like that shape...hm hope this makes sense on what I want.

OOOORRRR when i made an ipod cozie, garter stitch...or really whatever stitch you want...cast on as many as necessary to fit the width of your ipod. then I did as many rows needed to wher i could fold it around my ipod, then i sewed the sides together. and if you want you could add a hand by chaining with a crochet hook....ooooh or make an icord

Yeah I always tell myself to trust the pattern, but when i got to the end of the section and it finally closed the gap there was a HUGE hole for some reason my stitches arent closing it as it goes and they are off.

I'm working on some footies. My first sock like thing, and everytime I get to the part about shaping the heel, around row 4 of that section I can see where a hole will form. What am I doing wrong, am I supposed to finish the row before turning? It'll tell you to turn in the middle of a row.  Huh Huh Huh
Here is the pattern.
9  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Baby Blanket on: March 15, 2009 06:07:49 PM
I actually just decided to knit some blankets to donate to a hospital. I'm thinking the one my sister in law works at. So ive started some squares with scraps...well not so much scraps and yarn I bought bc I liked it but never figured out what to make with it. I'm also going to do some star blankets with some real scrap yarn. So I'm in.
