I have the most awesome tote bags made from newspapers and also wine carriers!  They are sewn together but they have some sort of coating on them that keeps them waterproof...I would like to spin some newpaper yarn to make some cute firestarters...just for fun...it would be nice to just experiment with it...I am sure there are plenty of ideas out in the interweb!

oh my goodness j_k!!!  Those are some pretty heavy duty projects! And, you even managed to get yourself something! I really like the dress made from the t-shirt...very cute!

kwiltykate--wow--those hoops are super nice...I bet that swap is getting more and moe challenging...I can't believe how you guys come up with such great ideas!  Love that you did machine embroidery..I should add some of those on my list (machine embroidery of any kind!)

Silvermoon...I am definitely going to have to hit you up for a dragon someday...I have a nephew who would just think he went to heaven if he had a dragon! Cheesy  Great--I am glad you posted--can't wait to see the finished project!  Did you find the supplies you needed?

I agree--great minds...both of the Fortune Teller tins are fabulously wicked!  Very clever use of materials--the half marble is amazing...I even sort of well a little bit tiny bit teeny tiny bit liked the clowns on back... Cheesy
17189  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: More paper bead earrings :) on: March 23, 2011 02:17:53 PM
I love them, but they really do make an impact when you have so many together!  Love the lime green ones and the orange/turquoise ones the best!

The thing I love about the paper beads is that they are so lightweight! And you can get so many beautiful colors and you are reusing something that would go to the trash!

Beautiful job!
