oh oath keeper...the post office does not live up to its old motto...Cheesy

Miss Barbara--so sorry to hear about your friend...I am sure a crafty gift and decor will be welcomed by her while she is rehabing!  I know you can be any age to have a stroke, but it is rarer in younger people...have a safe trip

I finished one monster but I also ate most of the candy out of boredom in the dark Cheesy

I will stop by tonight and get another bag...

You rocked that 70's gold yarn, Brackish potato!!!  The color combo is unusual yet very very interesting!  I love it.

Your scrapbook turned out nice as well...so interesting to see all the details.

The Swap-ghan is wonderful!  I have been collecting squares on Craftster for quite some time...I just need to suck it up and join them all together in some way! Cheesy

I also love your Junque Journal...girl, how many projects do you have ongoing at the same time!! wow

Bananaleg--your jam looks so yummy! Also, the cozy is very colorful and practical!

I keep trying to use up what I have, but somehow, more stuff shows up...like the two skeins of patton wool I got at a yard sale for 50 cents! Cheesy....

And, the colorful huge tablecloth I also got for 50 cents that need to be made into project bags (soon!)...

I almost bought a whole box of embroidery floss but I stopped myself--I have a drawer of that already!

What beautiful fabric!  I certainly would not want to screw it up either!  And, you would want to make something you love to wear a lot for a long time!

I have been seeing a lot of halter style tops with sheers used as a shrug, tied in the back...I definitely would make a blouse...it would feel lovely next to your skin...

We got power and water and phones and TV and internet last night!  Never ever take those for granted... Cheesy

I did manage to get a bit more done on my scarf and will have to post a progress pic...because I doubt that I will be working on it a lot during September...too too much to get done before winter! Cheesy

The crinky toy is a good idea!  Babies like colors and noisy things..Cheesy

You sure put in a lot of work on making that cake!  The whole table looks like you guys are ready to have fun and celebrate!

Wow--that is pretty cool and fast!! You sure had no learning curve!

I saw on Design Star last night where one of the designers used woven rag rugs to cover stools...I think that would be a great weaving project as well...I bet we see a lot or projects using your new loom, vampedangel14!

j kievet!!! 65 bookmarks? Are you supplying the library? Cheesy

Ffrogg526--you are definitely not a slacker...each time I see you I think of that gorgeous skirt--now THAT was a project worth 50! Cheesy

Sheepblue---I love that you are a bit left of center...quirky and odd...all good!

Gotta go look at Katara's stuff --brb... Love the crinkly toy!  Clever idea!  Also, renamed the craftalong so that people know it is still active! Cheesy
16268  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Crafters Apron Swap Gallery! on: August 30, 2011 06:25:27 AM
ha ha ha craftaddchick!!!  I also made the mistake of showing off my apron to my co-workers...now they all want one! Cheesy

I see some Christmas presents...I am glad I did this swap or else I would never have my own apron!  I have been wearing the one Leslieshappyheart made everyday--very useful and good-looking, too...

Thanks for sharing your beautiful apron...I know your Mom will love it but make sure you show off yours as well! Cheesy

I got power last night and managed to finish my projects!  Shipping off to my fellow hurricane survivor, leslieshappyheart!

Don't worry, I used our shrink wrap machine to make it weatherproof!

Hope you like it!
